Over 25 Years in Ministry

1988 

Crisis Pregnancy Services opens its doors at 2809 Ashman Street, Midland MI driven by the efforts of Mike and Brenda Kroupa and a small group of board members. Their vision was to be the extended hand of Jesus, reaching out to those encountering unplanned pregnancies and show them the love of Christ.

1990

Began Post Abortion Counseling and Education (PACE). This 8 week program facilitated a group of women to support each other, decreasing the sense of alienation and isolation post abortive women feel.

1993

Moved to N. Saginaw Road.

1996

Abstinence Education Program added to offer medically accurate sexual health and healthy relationships information to middle school and high school students.

2000

Purchased 2828 N. Saginaw Road building and becoming property owners for the first time.

2004

Launched the Earn While You Learn program and opened Hope Closet to supply materials to EWYL clients.

2005

Changed name to Pregnancy Resource Center to reflect expansion of services beyond crisis support.

2008

Opened the Medical Clinic and obtained an ultrasound machine.

2010

Launched the Fatherhood Program to help empower men to become involved, committed and responsible fathers.

2011

Moved to our current location at 4818 N. Saginaw Road.
